Lucky 7 Synthescent Preorbital – Licking Branch GEL – This preorbital gland scent mimics the odor of the glandular secretions a deer’s head. Deer rub the gland on overhead branches to communicate with each other. During the rut, bucks deposit scent when they rub their antler over top of their scrapes, communicating their presence and dominance in the area. You can use this licking branch scent to perfect mock scrapes to congregate deer in that spot or to rile up that old territorial buck that frequents the area.
This scent is in a convenient gel formulation that will cling to branches and slowly release scent over time. Whitetails will be attracted to this synthetic deer scent and will rub their heads on it and lick at the branch. Once started, the deer will maintain this licking branch on their own for quite some time without the need for additional scent.
